Valerie E. Kennedy
Valerie's love of skincare began at the age of four when her momma brought home a pink patent leather suitcase full of Mary Kay skin care and cosmetics (it was the South, it was the 70's)
Her quest for the "perfect" skincare solution began when she developed cycstic acne as a preteen. She struggled with acne well into her early 30s, and was guided by a trusted friend (who also happend to be an esthetician!) into biweekly facials and a consistent professional skincare routine. Voila! The "good skin" Valarie had always wanted was hers. This transformation eventually led her a career change: in 2009 Valerie became a licensed esthetician. She eventually added massage therapy to her skill set in 2013 which she incorporates into her facials; and offers as a stand alone service for full body massage.
I'm Angela Fairchild! I am so excited to be at Glow working my magic! I have always been passionate about skin, ever since I was a young girl putting on makeup and being curious about skincare products. My Mother would take me to the Estée Lauder counter while she bought all of her beauty products. I was mesmerized! As I grew up I wanted to be a makeup artist for film. I was inspired by the makeup effects from Nightmare on Elm Street back in the 80's and how they were able to make an actor look like that (still a fan to this day)! So amazing! I attended the Aveda Institute in 1998, Wow I can't believe that was 23 years ago! From there I worked with many different cosmetic companies, from Estée Lauder toLancôme, the list goes on and on. I have been honored to work for many amazing Spas here in Santa Fe. Ten Thousand Waves, La Posada, and Body to name a few. I was honored to be a makeup artist on the film "The Boys of Aby Ghraib" which was filmed here in Santa Fe, lifetime goal accomplished...check! I wanted to work in medicine, particularly dermatology. What a perfect blend of esthetics and medicine, right!? I graduated from SFCC here in Santa Fe with my degree in Medical Assisting and also got certified thru the AAMA. I was honored to work with Dr. Beth Jester at Dermatology of Santa Fe for 5 years where I had direct patient care on a daily basis.
Being able to work on clients again brings me a lot of satisfaction and joy. Seeing that change in the skin and clients embracing their own beauty and building their self esteem makes it worth while. I look forward to working my magic on you!

Licensed Cosmetic Tattooist
Jonelle always found a way to make beauty and esthetics a part of her life. She worked for makeup and skincare companies like Prescriptives and Origins over 20 years ago in Santa Fe and Denver. She was in management at a young age for the Bishop's Lodge in Santa Fe and the Orchard Hotel in San Francisco. In San Francisco she attended the Academy of Art University.
During that time she suffered with severe cystic acne. She sought advice from skin professionals to no avail. Skin and skincare nearly consumed her. After graduating with a Bachelor in Fine Art, and with an entrepreneurial spirit she moved back home to Santa Fe and opened Glow in 2010.
Jonelle then attended Esthetics school and learned how to heal her own skin. She is now a Licensed Esthetician and a Licensed Cosmetic Tattooist. She has taken advanced education through the International Dermal Institute in Denver, Skin Education International, IECSC in Las Vegas and Chicago, Institute for Permanent Makeup, Novalash, PCA Skin, Image Skincare, Dermalogica, Eminence Organics, Phi Brows, Dao Brows, Perfekt Brow Academy in Florida, Beauty Angel's Academy, Insparation Management in Florida as well as various other business and motivational events. She is a member of Associated Skin Care Professionals. She has taught advanced esthetics techniques to her team members for many years and this fall will begin teaching for Cosmetic Tattoo Licensure in NM.
"I know how changing my skin situation and finally feeling confident changed my life and it has become my life's work to help other's feel their most confident as well." Jonelle
